" I game therefore I think "

The GameMaven project vision seeks to leverage the naturally vibrant and increasingly large communities of video gamers towards virally spreading the intellectual skills and conceptual toolkit of the Systems Thinking discipline amongst youth culture outside the classroom.

Video games of all kinds contain lessons about complex system relationships and dynamics within them. Millions of gamers of all ages will each spend many hours reading, writing, and discussing strategies for their favorite games - but these discussions typically lack communicative fluency and analytical clarity.

By providing a collaborative, interactive, game tool that enables gamers to systematically visualize, model, and debate strategies for their favorite video gamess, we can encourage gamers to adopt Systems Thinking as the natural language of their community, whilst also raising the educational benefits of all video games.
